Hi there, so I finally got back onto the habit of posting what I am into (musically) these days, and to bring you a series, which I intent to call “World Music Fridays”. The purpose of these is to expand your musical horizon and to show you how amazing music is, no matter from whom or where it comes from as long as it’s sincere.
Any how I think I explain what I intent to do, so now let’s get down to what really matters, music.
Today (as my first post) I would like to share with you this amazing song by Asa. I first heard this song while I was in Cuba, and let me tell you I couldn’t stop listening to it afterwards. The soulfulness of this amazing artist (in my opinion) will move you. She reminds me of Nina Simone mixed with Sade. But I don’t want to influence your criteria with mine, listen to her and let me know on your comments if you agree with me ok. Well that’s all for today. I hope you are having an amazing Friday, if not listen to the song below, as it might fix your day.
Until next time!!!
- Asa real name is Bukola Elemide.
